Join the World Waveski Surfing Festival at Nahoon Reef!
Nahoon Reef is a legendary spot for waveski surfing, with a long right hand point that resembles Sunset, Hawaii. It is located in the Nahoon Nature Reserve, a beautiful and natural setting. This year, Nahoon Reef will host the World Waveski Surfing Titles, where the best waveski surfers from around the world will compete for the ultimate glory. The waves can be challenging, ranging from 4 to 8 feet, so be prepared for some thrilling action. We are grateful to the local surfing community for sharing their beloved break with us. We look forward to a great event and a fun time with our international waveski family.
Nahoon Reef is also very consistent, and the locals are friendly and respectful. If you catch the right wave, you can ride it for 200m+ all the way to the car park. If the Reef is too big or messy, we have a backup venue at Nahoon Corner, a mix of sand and rock that offers a playful alternative.

The Setup
The Reef Royalty Waveski Open will host the 2024 World Waveski Surfing Titles, accredited and in compliance with World Waveski Surfing Association. The Reef Royalty Waveski Open takes place annually at Nahoon Reef and is known to deliver the best quality waves at the best time of year.
