SAWSA works hand in hand with Canoe South Africa {CSA}, to ensure all representing waveski surfers meet the respective criteria, to compete internationally, representing South Africa on the international competitive circuit.
The Canoeing South Africa federation has a longstanding memorandum of understanding with the World Waveski Surfing Association, making waveski surfing one of CSA’s recognised disciplines on the international circuit for South African’s. Representing members, are able to qualify for their international colours, due to the partnership established with Canoeing South Africa.
